Terms of Service - Personal Safety App for iOS

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AuraSafe ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

AuraSafe is a personal safety application that provides:

Real-time location sharing with trusted contacts
Emergency SOS alerts
Safe route suggestions
Check-in timer functionality

The App is designed to enhance personal safety but is not a substitute for emergency services. In case of emergency, always contact local emergency services (911 in the US).

3. User Accounts

To use AuraSafe, you must:

Be at least 13 years of age
Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AuraSafe to:

Track or monitor anyone without their knowledge and consent
Harass, stalk, or harm others
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Use the App for any commercial purpose without our consent

5. Location Services

AuraSafe requires access to your device's location services to function. By using the App, you consent to:

Collection of your location data as described in our Privacy Policy
Sharing of your location with contacts you designate
Use of location data to provide safety features

You can control location sharing through the App's settings at any time.

6. Emergency Features Disclaimer

Important: AuraSafe's emergency features are provided as a supplementary safety tool. We do not guarantee:

Continuous, uninterrupted service availability
That emergency contacts will receive or respond to alerts
Accuracy of location data in all circumstances
Cellular or internet connectivity required for the App to function

Always contact local emergency services directly in life-threatening situations.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by AuraSafe and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute the App
Reverse engineer or decompile the App
Use our trademarks without permission
Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuraSafe and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
Personal injury or property damage resulting from your use of the App
Any failure of the App to function as expected

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AuraSafe, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to AuraSafe at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of AuraSafe after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
